The Process

Wood carver Dave Snyder begins the process of creating the “Almost Christmas” Santas by picking up his knife and a block of wood. The Santa then begins to emerge. No pattern is used, only an idea and a love for his craft is required. A perfect mold is then made and a high quality solid resin reproduction is painstakingly produced.

Each Santa is numbered, hand painted, and signed by the artist. Only a limited number of each Santa will be duplicated. Each Santa reflects the care and attention to detail demanded to give these collectibles their own unique personality. An extreme appreciation of detail is evident in each of our Santas.

Only genuine hand made “Almost Christmas” collectibles bear the distinctive C. D. Snyder signature.
